Water Distribution System and water treatment plant up-grades & Wastewater Feasibility Study

Sagamok has consulted several water/wastewater engineering companies over the last 10 years, detailing the current deficiencies. Sagamok has obtained Class "B" estimates for the upgrades to the SCADA system, pump replacement, highlift station, water tower cleaning and watermain repairs. This will be re-visited and up-dated. The wastewater lagoon was inspected by a Health Canada Environment Health Officer. Sagamok’s first step is to proceed to a feasibility study as Sagamok’s residential, governance and private industry growth has to be accounted for when addressing the wasterwater capacity of the community, evaluating the case of a communal system with treatment facility versus the current method of a septic tank and field bed.
