Description | Larsen & Toubro (L&T) secured a significant order from the Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board for a water management project in Assam. The project aims to deliver safe and continuous 24x7 water supply to households in South-East Guwahati, improving the reliability of the city’s water infrastructure. The scope includes design, supply, installation, construction, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure such as a barge-mounted intake system, raw water rising mains, water treatment plant, reservoirs, booster pumping stations, and a distribution network with household connections. L&T will also deploy a fully integrated SCADA system for real-time monitoring and performance management, along with operation and maintenance of the project for five years. |
