Description | The Town’s goal of this project is to provide for a proactive remediation to an aging facility that was originally built in 1975, in response to more stringent effluent regulatory requirements and to provide for ongoing problems during spring freshet and storm events at the Cochrane Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). Specifically, install either ultraviolet or chemical injection for effluent disinfection and reconfigure the headworks to allow operations to accommodate higher flows during spring freshet and storm events. |
