Description | The project builds on the previous projects WRMP I-V and is fundamentally open-ended. It includes components for improving wastewater disposal, water reuse and sewage sludge disposal. Measures to improve the drinking water supply or to expand the national water transport system are not currently planned, but could still be taken into account in the course of further preparation of the investment measures. The total cost of WRMP VI is estimated at EUR 77.7 million. Of the total costs, EUR 48 million will be financed as a low-interest loan from FC funds. A grant of up to EUR 25 million from funds from the Neighbourhood Investment Platform (NIP) is also planned (EU co-financing). The partner's own contribution is 10% of the investment costs and amounts to around EUR 4.7 million. |
