Description | The Water Supply Upgrades: Dam Liner Project consists of replacing a new liner in the water supply dam and reservoir, as well as the removal of the old liner. This project aims to reduce leakage, improve storage capacity, and alleviate water shortages, low pressures, and operation/maintenance efforts by the Local Service District. The liner will be made of acceptable material for potable water systems and will be constructed to today’s standards meeting all environmental and regulatory requirements. Additionally, an regular boil water advisories associated with water shortages at LSD in the Town of Mainland will be alleviated. Once complete, this project will result in increased access to potable water. |
