Description
Description | The project consists of upgrades to the current Water Pressure Booster Station #2 in the Local Service District of Hickman’s Harbour. The project works includes: - Replacement of the current booster pump system with a new, modern system; - Installation of air release and gate valves; and, - Renovation of the existing water pump station building. Water Pressure Booster Station #2 is 35-40 years old and in a deteriorating condition. By renovating the building and adding a new booster pump station, the sustainability of the entire system will be increased. This will ensure reliable water infrastructure for the community and will provide residents of Hickman’s Harbour with increased access to potable water. |
