Description | The project consists of making improvements to the water supply and distribution system in Torbay. The scope of the project includes the installation of a flow meter at the intake building, 6 to 8 zonal flow meters to monitor system flows, a leak detection and repair program to reduce water loss that can be recaptured for new development, and the investigation and possible extension of water intake to provide additional yield and eliminate frazil ice issues. The water system improvements will lead to a more effective and reliable drinking (potable) water system with minimum loss of treated water. |
