The work entails Ouachita River pump station improvements, including pump replacement and structural, mechanical, and electrical improvements; raw water pipeline replacement; expanding the treatment facility to include 8 mgd of new treatment capacity, including site civil work including a new access drive and parking lot; stormwater improvements; aeration, rapid mix, flocculation and sedimentation basins for the new train; dual-media gravity filters with air scour for the new train; sludge removal equipment in new sedimentation basin; finished water clearwell with transfer and backwash pump station; and power supply including backup emergency power generator to support new treatment train and chemical building; new chemical storage building, bulk chemical storage facilities, and feed equipment; new administration facility including offices, meeting room, and multipurpose room.
