Water Treatment Plant Repairs in the Community of Dog Paw

The project will undertake repairs and maintenance to their existing water treatment plant at NWA #33, the Community of Dog Paw (Sioux Narrows) which is now approximately 10 years old . The repair work will ensure the asset performs adequately and mitagate and potential break downs or hazards which could result in to strain on the provincial health system should an emergency situation arise. Repairs to the plant include the replacement of 4 macrolite filters with new, replacement of 4 Ultrafiltration filters, repairs to 1 of 3 distribution water pumps, replacement of 2 existing water intake pumps, replacement of 2 Ultraviolet lights, repairs to the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
