Description
Description | The project consists of constructing a water treatment plant in the town of New-Wes-Valley. The scope of the project includes a water treatment facility and water tower. The project eliminates Carter’s Pond water supply which is currently too shallow and often causes blocks in water flow, resulting in cutting off drinking water supply. The project aims to improve the quality of water and ensure Trihalomethane (THM) and Haloacetic Acid (HAA) levels meet provincial drinking water standards. The project will also contribute to lifting the community’s Boil Water Advisory currently in place for the Town’s remaining water supply of Little Northwest Pond. The project will provide safe drinking water for the whole community of New-Wes-Valley. |
