Description | Construct a new water treatment facility to replace the existing water treatment infrastructure in the park constructed in 1985. The new system would consist of a new dedicated year-round structure for water treatment supplied by two (2) new groundwater wells. The new system would be strategically located on the west side of the park in proximity to existing and planned future developments. St. Malo is the second busiest provincial park campground and sees upward of 170,000 visitors between May and September alone. This will supply the maintenance yard, the planned future Visitor Services Centre, and staff accommodation facilities. |
