Description | The project consists of installing carbon filters to improve water quality and remove colour from its potable water. The project will require the construction of a building to house the equipment. Project works will result in a reduction of its THM (trihalomethanes) by-product issues to acceptable levels, it will also eliminate boil water advisories due to water quality issues, and reduce CL2 (chlorine) demand. This project is necessary as the local terrain ground water is not an option as a source of potable water and the area has limited surface water sources. |
