Description | The scope of the project would be to rehabilitate approximately 2500 meters of existing water mains using trenchless techniques to install watermain liners in the area bound by Empire Avenue, Cairo Street, Merrymeeting Road and Freshwater Road. New water main valves, curb stops and fire hydrants will be installed to complete the rehabilitation of the water system in the area. The scope of the project also includes provisions for a water main condition assessment which is needed to determine the structural integrity of the existing water mains and to ensure the most appropriate water main rehabilitation method is used. |
