Watermain Replacement and Septic Tank Installation

The project consists of replacing the main waterline and installing a septic holding tank in the Village of Happy Adventure. The scope of the project includes replacing 230 meters of water main and installing a septic holding tank. Currently, the water line is experiencing extreme erosion and four breaks as recently as August 2019. The installation of the septic holding tank will provide primary treatment of effluent prior to being discharged into the ocean. The septic holding tank will also ensure that the Federal Environmental Standards are met. The project aims to provide safe, clean drinking water to the community and increase capacity to treat and manage wastewater.
