Watermain Replacement in Port Colborne

The project will rehabilitate watermains in Port Colborne, Ontario. The work will involve replacing approximately 2,035 metres of watermains on four streets with other activities including side street interconnections and the installation of approximately 15 fire hydrants and 29 main line water valves. Affected roadway, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and affected driveways will also be reinstated. The project will fund improvements to local water pipes, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure.
