Description | Based on recorded failures and predicted high probability for increased failure rates in the near future, many watermains have been identified as structurally deficient and require rehabilitation. This is intended to reduce overall service outages. The internal lining of 4.5 km of metal watermains up to 400mm in diameter will be lined with a structural liner, which will extend the service life of the asset, reduce the occurrence of watermain breaks and improve the quality of the water delivered to approximately 1,200 customers. |
