Description | The project involves redeveloping the municipal parking lot behind CVS, the Armenian Museum of America, and other businesses in Watertown Square. It includes constructing a multi-story parking garage by the City and a residential building by a private developer. The garage is planned to be located behind the Armenian Museum, replacing the Gray Block commercial building, and is expected to increase parking spaces by 100 to 180. The residential building will be along Spring Street, incorporating part of the parking lot and some privately owned buildings, with ground-floor retail facing a new public open space. The project is part of a Demonstration Project for a larger Revitalization Plan for Watertown Square. |
