Description	The Wayanad twin tunnel project is an 8.2-km tunnel cutting through the ecologically fragile and landslide-prone peaks of the Western Ghats. It aims to improve connectivity to Wayanad and Karnataka from other parts of Kerala. The Konkan Railway Corporation is the implementing agency, with Dilip Buildcon awarded the tunnel construction and Royal Construct responsible for approach roads and bridges.
