Description | The Wayne Pike Career and Technical Center (CTC) is a new educational facility project led by Wallenpaupack School District to provide expanded career and technical education programs. The project includes enlarging space for various CTE departments such as healthcare, culinary, aviation, automotive, and building trades in a custom-designed setting. The CTC will have 690 seats with priority given to Wallenpaupack students. The project is estimated to cost $53 million and is planned to open in 2027 or 2028, pending permits. Funding will come from borrowing and a mixture of state and federal grants, including some already received. The project will not increase school taxes and will not divert funds from other capital improvements or maintenance at Wallenpaupack. |
