Description | Wayne State University plans to construct a $200 million, five-story Health Sciences Research Building on its Detroit campus. The 160,000-square-foot building will bring together researchers from various health sciences disciplines to accelerate discoveries in oncology, translational neuroscience, systems biology and immunology, and metabolism and infectious diseases. It will include community engagement space, wet labs, cutting-edge equipment, and safety protocols to enable advanced research, including work with infectious diseases. The building will be connected to the Gordon H. Scott Hall of Basic Medical Sciences via a pedestrian bridge. |
