Description
Description | The overall objective of “CARE-4” project is to contribute to a better understanding of the importance of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) by Romanian citizens and its impact on their daily lives, illustrating the relevance between the daily issues of the general public and the EU's political priorities. The fourth year of the CARE will continue to demonstrate how the CAP is one of the main drivers of European integration, and how it plays a key role in supporting the EU’s farming sector and rural areas. Our project will address all the key policy objectives of the CAP 2023-27 reflecting the economic, environmental and social importance of the policy, with a focus on competitiveness of the agri-food sector, rural revitalization, and organic production. To achieve this, RFI Romania proposes to implement an information campaign aimed at Romanian citizens with focus on the younger generations (students and farmers) about the role and impact of the CAP on their daily lives: 1) Produces 35 radio talks (40 minutes) and 35 news programmes in Romanian and their online and social network versions and broadcasts them on air, online and on social networks; 2) Produces content dedicated to social media platforms for young people – 39 audio-video modules; 10 personal stories (audio-video) of young farmers/students; 100 graphic materials about CAP; 80 Instagram stories on agricultural topics; 3) Engages young people with the CAP through 4 “Rural” special editions with public, organized in high schools and universities specialized in agriculture; 4) Engages the public with the CAP through 4 reportages conducted in different regions of Romania, broadcast on air, online and social networks. The outputs reached through our project will potentially target across Romania is 2,774,400 people. |
