The fleet helps relieve grid congestion during evening peak demand by injecting power back into the grid, supporting higher solar penetration, delaying infrastructure investment, and saving money for consumers. The initial 50 vehicles were connected on 2025-06-04, with plans to expand to 120 vehicles in December 2025 and 500 vehicles in 2026, aiming to deliver up to 1MW of grid congestion relief, making it the largest V2G project in Europe. |
