Since that date Cinetel has acquired the TV, Cinematic, VOD and Video rights for thousands of hours of quality programmes (feature films and series alike). The company’s aim to bring high value content for all age groups from pre-school to adult audiences. Cinetel Kft started Theatrical releases in 2013 and since that 60 titles have been distributed and screened in Hungarian cinemas and have been entertaining hundreds of thousands of people. Cinetel Kft has approximately 1% share of the Hungarian Cinematic market and considered a small independent distributor. Unfortunately, Hungary is a small market and it is extremely difficult to compete with studio titles. The company has built good relationship with all major TV networks (MTVA, RTL, TV2, Sony, Viacom) and VoD providers (Vodafone, Telekom). Since 2003 more than 300 films were released on DVD by the company. |
