Websol Solar Manufacturing Expansion

Websol Energy Systems plans to expand its solar manufacturing capacity by adding 4 GW of solar cell and 4 GW of solar module capacity using TOPCon technology. The expansion will be executed in two phases: Phase III adding 2 GW each of solar cell and module capacity by June 2027, and Phase IV adding another 2 GW each by June 2028. This builds on their existing manufacturing base in Falta, West Bengal, which currently operates a 600 MW solar cell line and a 550 MW solar module line, with an additional 600 MW solar cell line expected by October 2025.
