The project includes expanding Crowland TS and represents an approximately $311 million investment to be completed by 2029 to improve electricity grid capacity, reliability, and security in the Niagara Region. The project also offers proximate First Nations the opportunity to invest in a 50% equity stake in the transmission line component through Hydro One's First Nation 50-50 Equity Partnership Model. |
