Description | The Vulnerable Persons Centre project, now referred to as the Wellness & Recovery Centre Project by the Government of the Northwest Territories, includes the planning and design of of a new "Indigenous healthcare and wellness facility" in Yellowknife with the primary purpose of providing care shelter for the Territories vulnerable population and will include community and cultural aspects. This proposed facility will not be a treatment facility - the Centre will be a safe place for the vulnerable population to access services, food, warmth, a sense of belonging. |
