West Africa Infrastructure Development via Public-Private Partnerships

planned

The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) Director-General urged West African countries to adopt Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to address the region's infrastructure deficit. PPPs enable governments to partner with the private sector in financing, developing, operating, and maintaining infrastructure such as roads, railways, housing, and water. The approach includes solicited and well-regulated unsolicited proposals to reduce the financial burden on governments and accelerate infrastructure development.
