Description
Description | The proposed Program will support health sector reforms to address a dual burden of disease in a large, poor state in the Indo-Gangetic plains severely affected by climate change. It builds on the Bank’s earlier engagement in West Bengal as well as the current health sector priorities in India. The proposed Program aims to catalyze large-scale health sector reforms to enhance access, quality and equity to benefit millions of people. This is a hybrid operation that uses both the PforR and IPF instruments. The IPF component is a very small part of the Program and is focused only on technical assistance activities. |
