The West Black Sea Consortium that consists of the coordinator KOSGEB Sinop Service Centre and partners Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and DUSIMER. By the activities which will be carried out, the Consortium will be aiming the integration of covered area’s business community to the EU. Increasing the awareness of SMEs on IPR, technology and innovation, entrepreneurship, EU programs and legislations, financing and marketing opportunities, advantages of internationalization will be one of the goals of the Consortium. Also informing them about R&D funds and increasing their skills to realize technology transfer will be important for the Consortium. By the activities in the project, participation in the international R&D projects, other EU funded projects and realization of know-how transfer by raising their innovation management capacity aimed to be ensured. The Consortium partners have been carrying out activities for SMEs in their local environment. However these activities could not develop the general economic environment of the region without a regional organization. The Consortium will overcome the problem of trapping in the local by thinking global and acting regional.
