Description | The West Cameron Gold Project is a gold exploration project located in the Kenora Mining District of northwestern Ontario. The project covers approximately 1,700 hectares and benefits from year-round access via Highway 71, logging roads, and established trails. It is adjacent to the Cameron Lake claim group and features gold mineralization hosted in shear zones, quartz-carbonate veining, altered felsic intrusions, and structurally deformed rock units. MetalQuest Mining Inc. has received TSX Venture Exchange approval to acquire a 100% interest in the project and is finalizing its 2026 exploration program, which includes geological mapping, sampling, geophysical surveys, and targeted drilling to validate and expand known mineralization. |
