Description | PUC Services Inc. is proposing two large-scale solar generation projects in the west end of Sault Ste. Marie. The projects aim to produce up to 235 megawatts of electricity across more than 1,100 acres of land. These projects are part of Ontario's long-term procurement process to secure new, reliable electricity supplies and support economic development in the region. Construction could begin as early as 2028, with the goal of having both projects operational by 2030. |
