The project involves the design, financing, building, operation, maintenance and transfer of the water supply system in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The project aims to provide drinking water for 31 sub-districts in 3 districts and is divided into 2 parts: distribution network and raw water supply system, raw water facility, transmission network, water treatment plant, clean water transmission network and reservoir. The contracting cgency is the Municipal Government of Semarang, supported by PT Indonesia Infrastruktur Finance as the transaction advisor. 10 bidders entered the auction and the winner is a consortium between Moya Holdings Asia's subsidiary PT Aetra Air Jakarta and PT Medco Gas Indonesia. The SPV will be 75% and 25%-owned, respectively. The BOT concession is for 25 years, beginning from the date of commercial operation. The investment value is IDR 1.19 trillion or $ 82.38 million.
