Description | Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Nikkiso CE&IG) and WestAir are building a hybrid hydrogen trailer and fueling station in Long Beach, California, designed to reduce boil-off gas losses close to zero. The station will provide hydrogen dispensing at 350 bar (H35) for transit buses, with future expansion to 700 bar (H70). It includes LH2 storage with advanced insulation, multiple fueling capabilities including transit bus filling and tube trailer filling, redundant cryogenic pumps, dual loading bays, advanced automation, and a flow rate up to 120 kg/hour at 500 bar. Fabrication will be done by Nikkiso CE&IG specialists in Southern California, with commissioning starting in Q4 2025 and full operation expected by Q1 2026. |
