Description | The Western Gateway Pipeline is a project planned by Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan to build a pipeline system running 1,300 miles from St. Louis to California. It aims to provide Southern California with a connection to gasoline and other refined products from fuel terminals in other parts of the country, improving supply flexibility and reliability for West Coast markets. The pipeline will use a combination of existing infrastructure and new construction, with a capacity of about 200,000 barrels per day, linking refinery supply from the Midwest to Phoenix and California, and providing a connection into Las Vegas. |
