Description
Description | The Western Gateway pipeline is a proposed large-scale fuel pipeline project by Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan to deliver gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel from fuel-making plants in the Midwest and other regions to California. The pipeline would cross from Illinois through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada before reaching California. Much of the pipeline would be built along or utilize existing Kinder Morgan conduits, with a new section constructed across New Mexico near Mescalero Apache land, which has received buy-in from local tribes. |
