Description | The Western Green Energy Hub is a proposed 70 GW renewable energy project in southwest Western Australia, developed by InterContinental Energy in collaboration with CWP Global and Mirning Green Energy. It will include solar and wind generation to power electrolysers producing up to 3.5 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually for domestic use and export. The project is planned to be developed in stages, with an initial stage targeting 1.4 million tonnes per year by 2033 and full capacity by 2050. |
