Description | The Whatì Access Road - Improvements project includes redesign and improvements to a 12 km all-season gravel road that stretches from the community of Whatì, NWT to the terminus of Highway 9 (the newly constructed Tlicho Highway). The project includes: surveying, geotechnical investigation, granular material sourcing/supply/production, and improvements to the road alignment, profile, embankments, drainage, width, surface, guard rails, signage, bridge(s) and culverts. The project will result in improved safety, efficiency and reliability for the traveling public along the Whatì Access Road. |
