"There are several reasons for participating in the ""Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Program"" ( ""the Program""). The main inspiration comes from the citizens themselves and from the Program, which has been successfully implemented in previous years. Numerous positive experiences motivated our village of Hegyeshalom to rejoin this noble project. There have been a number of positive effects in the joint cooperation of the partner cities outside the project, new friendships have been established between the participants regardless of nationality, even business partnerships that have crossed the borders of the partner countries. The constructive consequence of the implemented project also affects the political, social and business areas as a result. The relevance of the project is based on the principles of this challenge, which helps mobilizing citizens at local and EU level. Our aim was to create a project concept that promotes EU values, pays more attention to issues related to the European Union and European citizenship, strengthens intercultural dialogue, promotes the active participation of citizens in society and reflects on the future of the European Union. In the project, we want to actively involve the participants in the programs in order to motivate them to participate more actively in everyday social and political life. We call for a conference on the future of Europe within the project. The Conference on the Future of Europe offers a unique and great opportunity for European citizens to discuss the challenges and priorities facing Europe. No matter where you live and what your citizens do, you can tell us in this forum what future you have for the European Union. We invite speakers, historians, teachers, politicians who will pass the best of their knowledge,experience and above all, be able to actively answer questions related to the topic."
