Description

Description

The project will support areas such as citizen involvement, equality for all and the implementation of EU rights and values. The proposed program will promote exchanges of information between people from different countries, strengthen mutual understanding and tolerance, and give people the opportunity to broaden their perspective and develop a sense of European belonging and identity through town twinning meetings. In addition, maintaining a bottom-up approach provides an opportunity to focus on EU priorities. For example, our aim is to improve citizens' knowledge of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, to contribute to greater participation and inclusive candidacy in the European elections, and to raise awareness of discrimination, racism and its consequences. Also draw attention to environmental and climate issues. The subject of the present project is a citizen-centered event based on a “bottom-up” approach and giving Europeans a space to name their expectations towards the European Union. It gives citizens a greater say in shaping future policies and formulating the Union's ambitions, thereby increasing its resilience. Citizens' participation in these events will reflect the diversity of Europe.
