Whitby Civic Centre Recreation Complex Rehabilitation and Renovations

completed

The project will rehabilitate the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex in Whitby, Ontario. The work will involve creating accessible family change rooms, renovating and converting underutilized space in the lobby for additional programming, and replacing end-of-life equipment, including: the fire alarm system; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; electrical panels; pool lighting and filtration systems; and the public address system. The project will increase the safety and reliability of the facility, and improve the quality and accessibility of aquatic programs, particularly for families with young children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
