Description | The White Tank battery storage project is a 100-MW/400-MWh utility-scale battery energy storage system located in Maricopa County, Arizona. It was acquired by GridStor from Strata Clean Energy and will serve customers of Arizona Public Service (APS) under a 20-year tolling agreement. The project includes a battery supply and long-term service agreement with e-STORAGE, which is providing about 120 SolBank 3.0 battery enclosures. The project is expected to enter commercial operation in the first half of 2027, with Strata continuing in a consulting role during construction. |
