Whitehorse Transit Services: Bus Replacement

This project will replace four 40-foot fully accessible buses from the City of Whitehorse’s existing bus fleet that have reached their end of life. The current buses are in poor condition and have a negative effect on both customer service and operating costs. The City of Whitehorse’s Transit Services currently consists of 13 low floor fully accessible 40-foot diesel buses. Replacement buses will improve the capacity of the public transit infrastructure by increasing service level sustainability as well as encompassing the latest safety design and emission control standards.
