Description | Construction works on Whiteladies Road between Tyndalls Park Road/St Pauls Road and Queens Road in Bristol will start on July 14 to prevent flooding and improve walking and cycling routes. The project includes adding separated cycleways on both sides of the road, installing beany block kerbs with built-in drainage, resurfacing the road, raising driveways of six private properties, repaving pavements to reduce tree root impact, and adding rubber crumb around trees. The road will be closed one-way northbound during the project, with overnight closures for resurfacing at the end. Access to properties will be maintained. Works are expected to complete by the end of 2025. |
