Description | This project consists in purchasing and installing additional cellular, Wi-Fi and GPS antennas to increase the capacity of our telecommunications networks in the garage in order to facilitate the transmission of Opus and passenger information system data. Because of the current configuration and the construction of the building and its surface materials, reception is difficult and affects the smooth operation of the system. This project was identified as completed by the province, but no claims were submitted. The STL is asking for a reduction in the scope of the project and the expected federal contribution. If the project involved the purchase and installation of cellular, WI-FI and GPS antennas, the STL wishes to remove the GPS from the planned deliverables. This part of the project can not be completed because the necessary permit can not be issued before March 31, 2020. |
