Wingham Standpipe Replacement

The Project is for the replacement of the Wingham Standpipe located on the municipally owned site of the existing treated water standpipe. The Project scope involves the safe decommissioning and demolition of the existing standpipe followed by the installation of a replacement which will increase the storage capacity as per the guidelines outlined by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. The Project will also target booster pumping capabilities and emergency backup power. The Project aims to increase distribution system pressure in low pressure areas within the distribution system; enhance fire flow inventory within the municipal distribution system; and increase water pressure to all areas while ensuring service continuity at the Wingham and District Hospital.
