WIS 49 (Cedar Road to WIS 66)

The purpose of the proposed project is to preserve the function, operation and safety of WIS 49 from Cedar Road to Lake View Road (project 6270-00-07) and from Lake View Road to WIS 66 (project 6270-00-08). The proposed action is needed to address the deteriorating pavement condition and deficient drainage facilities along WIS 49. From Cedar Road to Lake View Road, the proposed work consists of milling 4-inches from the existing pavement structure and overlaying with 4-inches of new asphalt pavement. Additionally, the existing paved shoulders would be widened to 3-feet. Secondary work would include replacing culvert pipes, cleaning culvert pipes, ditching and other incidentals.From Lake View Road to WIS 66, the proposed project consists of milling 2.5-inches from the existing pavement structure and overlaying with 3.5-inches of new asphalt pavement. Additionally, the existing paved shoulders would be widened to 3-feet. Secondary work would include replacing culvert pipes, replacing the pavement at the intersection of WIS 66 and other incidentals.
