The project replaced 51 miles of pipeline with a larger-diameter pipeline, upgraded gas compression facilities at stations in Kewaskum and Weyauwega, and upgraded meter stations in Merrill, Oshkosh, South Wausau, Stevens Point, and Two Rivers. It supports rising natural gas demand, estimated to increase 45% by 2025, and is expected to generate $1.1 billion in economic output, support 4,300 jobs, and contribute $68 million in tax revenue to Wisconsin. |
