WITHIN REASONABLE DOUBT is a 8*45 series developed by Strive Stories, a Swedish company founded by Nicklas Wikström Nicastro & Jens Lapidus (SNABBA CASH, two-time Academy Award nominee A MAN CALLED OVE, PARADISE CITY). PITCH: In a prestigious Swedish law firm ruled by invisible power structures and fragile loyalties, young idealist Tilde lands her dream job – only to discover a world where success still wears a man's suit and morality bends to whoever holds the power. Caught between a career-defining case, a forbidden love affair with the defendant, and battles with a rival firm, Tilde must navigate a minefield of gender politics, loyalty, and ambition – before everything she believes in, and everything she’s built, comes crashing down. WITHIN REASONABLE DOUBT is a gripping “Legal Noir” about power, betrayal, and the price of finding your own voice in a world that wasn’t built for you. Our objectives are to produce, release and promote a high-end European series, with a strong international collaboration framework spanning six countries, showing a strong level of cross-border cooperation. At the core of this cooperation is the broadcaster's alliance N12, with broadcasters from five territories: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, as well as 10 LOIs from broadcasters all over the world. WITHIN REASONABLE DOUBT follows a strategically structured co-production that combines the distinct strengths and resources of international partners, each bringing specific expertise and contributions to the project. Our co-production structure reflects a strong cooperation between countries of different market sizes as we pool together our resources and use our respective strengths to create a high-quality production. All partners have been able to tap into each other's resources and expand their reach into new markets, bridging the gap between smaller and larger markets and creating a more diverse and interesting landscape for WITHIN REASONABLE DOUBT.
