Description | A women-centric employment hub under the Maharashtra Women's Economic Development Corporation (MAVIM) at Koradi in Nagpur district aimed at providing skill development and sustainable livelihoods to rural women. The garment centre is expected to generate around 200 jobs for self-help group members through sewing and tailoring training lasting six months with timely stipend payments. Additional initiatives include an incense stick manufacturing unit using floral waste, a pollution-free Kalamkari and textile processing project, and a sanitary napkin production unit, all based in Koradi. |
