Sustainable strategies for the development of skilled workers in spa and health destinations in Bavaria and Austria. Objectives: With combined forces, the project partners are working on sustainable strategies and measures to attract (again) skilled workers and to bind them in the long term in the spa and health destinations in Upper Austria, Lower Bavaria and Salzburg. In doing so, they apply both in the education and training programmes as well as in working and living conditions. The strategies are already being tested in practice during the project. Communication and image measures should also contribute to the targeted acquisition and long-term retention of skilled workers. Activities: Analysis of inventory and needs related to skilled workers. Further development of qualification and further education. Developing and piloting strategies for attracting and retaining skilled workers Derive measures to enhance working and living conditions for skilled workers. Results: Specialist strategy for spa and health destinations. Targeted improvement of training, working and living conditions for health tourism professionals.
